Very dark and oozing character, which is just how I like it! On rare occasions wargaming terrain and miniatures can approach art and this is one of those instances. Also, it's good to begin with smaller terrain to warm up and gradually progress towards bigger, more complicated things.Ana Polanscakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00475924332253440189noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7579010104915193980.post-59593577716477725062013-09-08T18:58:43.532+02:002013-09-08T18:58:43.532+02:00Very atmospheric trees! So good to see some cool stuff to inspire me :)Alexanderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09995442020376894243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7579010104915193980.post-68587421391812995142013-09-04T11:14:45.574+02:002013-09-04T11:14:45.574+02:00Ethnology/cultural anthropology and English. :)Ethnology/cultural anthropology and English. :)Ana Polanscakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00475924332253440189noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7579010104915193980.post-27256570942987073782013-09-04T11:05:39.333+02:002013-09-04T11:05:39.333+02:00Thanks Varangian. Whenever I sculpt something I use leftover greenstuff to make mushroom caps. The stalks are just pins, or made of greenstuff if I want them thicker for larger mushrooms. The mushrooms you can see in the picture with the really tiny caps are just plain pins, with their heads representing caps and their bodies stalks. I coat them in liquid greenstuff before painting.

As for the sign with bird, it comes from GW Nurgle Lord on Daemonic Mount: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440108a&prodId=prod1710160a

Mine is fortunately from the times before finecast.

:)Ana Polanscakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00475924332253440189noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7579010104915193980.post-77766869637557095772013-09-03T16:46:48.241+02:002013-09-03T16:46:48.241+02:00As always, very nice and atmospheric.
